LIBRARY BOOKS: All library books are due into the library this coming Monday, May 18. An overdue charge letter will be sent home for books still out by the end of the week. Books may be returned in the book drop outside the library doors.

DANCE/FUN NIGHT: Student Council is sponsoring a dance and fun night for 5th and 6th graders today!  The fun night starts at 6:00PM and ends at 8:30PM. There will be dodgeball, basketball, an art project station, a photobooth with lots of props for you and your friends to take pictures with for $1.00, and of course the great music to dance to! The concession stand will also be open the whole time! So bring your friends and come to the Forestview 5/6 Dance and Fun Night!! The Cost is $5.00 at the door. This dance is for Forestview Students only. Parents should pick up their child promptly at 8:30.

ROBOTICS: There will be an informational meeting in Mr. Danielson's room regarding Middle Level Robotics. There will be two 10 person robotics teams running at FMS next fall. Come to one of the informational meetings on May 21st to learn more. The meetings will be at 8am and 3pm. If interested, it is VERY important that you attend one of the meetings!

TALENT SHOW: Attention 5th Graders:  There will be Talent Show Try-outs in each team coming up soon! Please turn in your Talent Show slip to one of your teachers as soon as you can! We'd love to have a lot of fun acts perform their talent on the last day of school!

YEARBOOK: It's yearbook time! The 2015 Forestview Yearbook has arrived. Yearbooks will be distributed Monday morning in Gym 1 starting at 7:45. There will be a very limited number of extra books on sale for $35 on a first come, first serve basis. Books cannot be reserved. If you can't remember if you ordered a book, check the list of names in your team area.

YOUTH FISHING TEAM: On Friday, May 22, Walleye Dan Eigan will be at Forestview Middle School from 8:10-8:20 AM in the lower level of the Library to talk about the Brainerd Youth Fishing Team that will begin next school year.  The youth fishing team will combine Brainerd High School students with Forestview students.  Come to the meeting for additional information on this great opportunity!

BLUE RIBBON CARNIVAL: The Blue Ribbon Carnival for elementary school students is coming up on May 29 and we need your help! Anyone interested in helping set up all the bounce houses and games should pick up a permission slip from the main office. Return it by May 22. As a bonus, all volunteers get to take the first few bounces just to make sure it all works!


5th GRADE - TRACK & FIELD: Attention all 5th Grade Boys & Girls interested in participating in the new after school Track & Field Team: Please register for the program online at the Community Education website.  Our first practice starts on Monday, May 18, and will run every day until Friday, May 29. Practice times are from 3:00-5:00pm and practice will be held at the Forestview Track.  See you there:)

FOOTBALL: Any 8th grade boys who may be interested in playing football next fall and did not attend the meeting, see Mr. Stolski in Room #1806.
