ACT EXPLORE TEST: All 8th grade students will be taking an ACT Explore test 1st-4th hours next Wednesday, November 19. Make sure to come prepared with a calculator and a couple of pencils; you may also want to get good nights rest.


FLYER: Mount Ski Gull is opening Thanksgiving weekend for Skiing, Snowboarding and Tubing. Pick up a flyer in your team area or in the main office for more information.

COMMUNITY ED:

FMS GARDEN: FMS FYAC and CWC Master Gardeners have received a grant to build a Forestview youth garden. The garden will be built in Spring 2015 with a Volunteer Community Build Day. It will be approximately 90 X 150. FYAC is hosting a NAME THE GARDEN and DESIGN A GARDEN LOGO contest for all 5-8 grade students. The contest will run Wednesday, November 12 through Wednesday, November 19 (one week). The CWC Master Gardeners and FYAC members will decide and announce the winner(s). Individuals or groups can participate and turn in a logo design and name for the garden. A flyer will be in the main office and Community Education Office listing the expectations and Guidelines for the name & logo. A few of the FYAC members put together a brief video to show your students and introduce the contest. Please share it during power hour or as you can. Thank You FYAC youth, staff and CWC Master Gardeners


FMS SPORTS:

GIRLS BASKETBALL: 7th and 8th grade girls basketball begins on Monday, November 17. Get signed up before the season begins next week. Practice will follow 5th and 6th grade basketball from 4:45 to 6:15 the first week, and then early practice for the rest of the year.


NORDIC SKI: Forestview Nordic skiers please bring your equipment to practice on Monday, November 17. Skiers will meet at the warm storage house by the ice rink right after school. Dress for the snowy conditions! Be sure to use the sidewalk and walk around the buses to get to practice.


WRESTLING: Wrestling practices start Monday, November 17. Make sure you are signed up.
