BOYS CHOIR: 7th Grade Boys Choir: Leave your 1st hour class at 8:55 am this morning and report directly to the choir room for our rehearsal with 8th grade boys choir.


BAND: It is a big week for Forestview Music. The 6th grade, 7th grade, and 8th grade bands will have their spring concerts this week in the cafetorium. 6th grade bands perform tonight. Come support your friends and we'll see you at the concert!


ROBOTICS: There will be an informational meeting in Mr. Danielson's room regarding Middle Level Robotics. There will be two 10 person robotics teams running at FMS next fall. Come to one of the informational meetings on May 21st to learn more. The meetings will be at 8am and 3pm. If interested, it is VERY important that you attend one of the meetings!


TALENT SHOW: Attention 5th Graders:  There will be Talent Show Try-outs in each team coming up soon! Please turn in your Talent Show slip to one of your teachers as soon as you can! We'd love to have a lot of fun acts perform their talent on the last day of school!


YEARBOOK: It's yearbook time! The 2015 Forestview Yearbook has arrived. Yearbooks will be distributed Monday morning in Gym 1 starting at 7:45. There will be a very limited number of extra books on sale for $35 on a first come, first serve basis. Books cannot be reserved. If you can't remember if you ordered a book, check the list of names in your team area.


YOUTH FISHING TEAM: On Friday, May 22, Walleye Dan Eigan will be at Forestview Middle School from 8:10-8:20 AM in the lower level of the Library to talk about the Brainerd Youth Fishing Team that will begin next school year.  The youth fishing team will combine Brainerd High School students with Forestview students.  Come to the meeting for additional information on this great opportunity!


COMMUNITY ED:

BLUE RIBBON CARNIVAL: The Blue Ribbon Carnival for elementary school students is coming up on May 29 and we need your help! Anyone interested in helping set up all the bounce houses and games should pick up a permission slip from the main office. Return it by May 22. As a bonus, all volunteers get to take the first few bounces just to make sure it all works!


VOLUNTEERS: Any 8th graders interested in face painting at the Blue Ribbon Carnival Friday, May 29th from 4:30-8, please see Mrs. Hall.


FMS SPORTS:

FOOTBALL (Gr 5): Any 5th grader planning to play 6th grade football next year, there will be an informational meeting from 11:45-12:00 with Coach Bostrom in the lower level of the Library this Friday, May 22.


FOOTBALL (Gr 6): 6th grade boys interested in fall football, there will be an information meeting in the 6A commons at 11:15 this Friday to discuss 7th grade football and summer camps with Varsity Head Coach, Ron Stolski.


FOOTBALL (Gr 7): 7th grade boys interested in fall football, there will be an information meeting in the 7A commons at 12:45 this Friday to discuss 8th grade football and summer camps with Varsity Head Coach, Ron Stolski.


FOOTBALL (Gr 8): Any 8th grade boys who may be interested in playing football next fall and did not attend the meeting, see Mr. Stolski in Room #1806.


TENNIS: 8th Grade Girls' Tennis Players: Coach Salo will meet with you to discuss upcoming fall season on Friday, May 22 during 8th grade POWER (12:15) in 8A Commons area.
