REMINDER: Tomorrow (Friday) is a Teacher Inservice Day so there is no school for students.


EQUESTRIAN CLUB: will meet this Thursday at Legacy Stables at 3:30 p.m. Please talk to your parents about getting a ride; all the information was on the club agenda sheet handed out at our December meeting. If you need another copy please see Mrs. Hopperstad.


JAZZ BAND: 7th Grade Jazz Band meets today (Thursday) during power hour.


SPELLING BEE: The 6-8th grade Oral Spelling Bee was held yesterday, January 22. Fifteen students participated. The results were:  District Champion - Lauren Crabtree 8C; Runners-up:  Maison Jobe 8D, Lauren Benson 8B, Dani Dotseth 8C, Renzen Caughey 7C, Megan Hensel 8B, Jimmy Lin 7C.  Congratulations!  These 7 spellers will move onto the Lakes Bee, Thursday, March 6 at Tornstrom Auditorium to compete for an opportunity to attend the Scripps National Bee in Washington, DC later this spring. Good Luck to you all.

DODGEBALL: Forestview Dodgeball is BACK. We start on February 5, which is an early out day. Get your registration in the Community Ed Office by the gym!

7th and 8th grade boys basketball is at Pequot Lakes, 4:30 start

7th and 8th grade girls basketball is home against Pequot Lakes, 4:30 start

Wrestling is at Little Falls, 4:00 start


Friday January 24:

Boys swimming is at Alexandria, 4:30 start


KNOWLEDGE BOWL: Great job Forestview Knowledge Bowl Team.  In their first meet, Camal Spotting, Dani Dotseth, Luke Harting, Jake Ruglowski, Gus Robinson, and Lizzie Ortmeier took first overall, and Romani ite Donum, Ethan Marichalar, Hannah Sunderland, Maddie Schuld, Eric Loschko, and Alex Bauer took first in their division and 3rd overall. Teams Four Yorkshiremen, Sophie Irvine, Austin Toal, Steph Wacholz, Brady Kowalzek, and Abbie Newman, and the Queen's, McKamakaze Highlanders, Kallie Johnson, Andrew Becker, Jacob Drietz, and Jonah Macejkovic, took 6th and 8th respectively.
