** Attention Student Council Members!  We will be having a meeting on Tuesday, November 10th, after school in Ms. Kennedy's room. Please try to attend!


** Students: Please check the lost and found area if you are missing any items. The lost and found area is located in the main entrance. After this week, all lost and found items will be donated to charity.


** Elks Hoop Shoot -  Come down to the gym before school the week of November 9-13 to qualify for the Elks Hoop Shoot Free Throw Shooting Contest.  Qualifiers will go on to the next round here at Forestview on December 5.  See Mr. Gustafson for details and questions


COMMUNITY ED:


** Wrestling - Grade 5

Learn the fundamentals, new techniques, great exercise and a lot of fun. No equipment is necessary; singles are available for check-out. Parent meeting on Dec 7 - No classes Dec 28, 29 & Mar 7 & 8

Dates: Dec 7 - Mar 15 / Mon & Tuesdays, 6-7:30 pm

Fee: $50 which includes t-shirt and tournament entry fee


** Chess Club All Ages & Levels

Daily coach instruction along with time to strategize and scrimmage with other players, thus learning how to play. No class Mar 8 & 10.

Dates: Jan 19-Mar 17 / Tues & Thur, dismissal - 4:30 pm

Fee: $50 which includes a team shirt.


** Register for Community Ed. Activities online or with the Community Ed office - 218-454-6924.


FMS SPORTS:


** Any 7th and 8th graders that have questions about middle school wrestling can see Coach Danielson on Thursday from 8:00-8:20 a.m. in the hallway outside the tech ed rooms on the first floor.    The season starts Monday so get signed up now.


**  7th grade girls basketball players, there will be an informational meeting with Coach Reponen on Thursday, November 12th at 8:00 a.m. in Mrs Johnson’s room 1405.


** Monday, November 16th, there will be an informational meeting for 7th grade boys basketball at 8:15 a.m in Room 2707 with Coach Sannes


** Winter sports and activities registration is open online at isd181.org -- register for Gr 7/8 Basketball, Alpine Ski, Nordic Ski, Boys Swimming, Wrestling, STEM, Knowledge Bowl, Speech, Power Conditioning.


Shuttle Buses for after school sports and activities are located on the south side of the building.  Please remember that you will need a shuttle bus pass in order to ride.  You can pick up your shuttle bus pass in the Community Education Office before school or after school.
