BOOK FAIR: Hours will be from 7:45am - 3:30pm on Tuesday and Wednesday; 7:45am - 8:00pm on Thursday, and 7:45am - 8:25am on Friday.

COATS 4 KIDS: The Builders Club is collecting coats (used or new) for the local Coats 4 Kids drive.  We are in need of coats and hats and mittens mostly for younger kids ages 3-7.  The drive ends on October 25th.  Send all coats to Mr. Hodge's room in 1807, team 8B.

CHESS: Chess players interested in a Fall Parkers Prairie tournament can pick up a flyer and registration form in the main office or in the community education office.  See Mr. Hanson in 7C with questions.

STUDENT AMBASSADORS: Mrs. Taatjes' reading groups start this Wednesday. Please look at your chart. The "A" group is volunteering Wednesday. If you need a reminder, the chart is on Mrs. Hensel's door.

FYAC: will meet tomorrow night (Wednesday Oct. 23) right after school in room # 2702 until 4:30pm.

EQUESTRIAN (HORSE) CLUB: The Forestview Equestrian (Horse) Club will meet this Thursday from 3:10-4.00 p.m. in Mrs.Hopperstad's room 1717. Trainer Toni Wasilensky from the Aspen Hills Equestrian Center, will be our featured guest speaker! A healthy snack will be served. You don't have to be a horse owner to attend; just a horse lover!

STUDENT COUNCIL: There is a meeting this Thursday, October 24, at 7:30 AM in team 7A.  Please let Mrs. Ebinger know if you cannot make it.


DEBATE: Great job Brainerd debaters at Tuesday night's invitational tournament. Over 70 debater from 4 schools competed in 3 divisions. In novice Lincoln Douglas debate, Camryn Schmidt went 4-0 to take first place, Adam Kleist took 2nd, Nick Bauer took 3rd and Christian Richards took 4th. In Novice public forum, Brainerd had a clean sweep again. The top four finishers all had 4-0 records, with Luke Norquist and Lydia Halbach in first, Maddie Schuld and Chase Christian in 2nd, Will Just and Rachel Cleveland in 3rd and Ronan Pritschet and Isaac Esslinger in 4th. In open public forum, Danny Stokes and Patrick Meyers went 4-0 to take first, and Rachel Dallman and Amanda Bentley finished 3-1 to earn 3rd place.

WINTER SPORTS REGISTRATION: is still open.  Get signed up today for basketball, wrestling, nordic ski, swimming, or power conditioning.
