BOOK FAIR: This is a reminder for those Student Ambassadors helping with the morning book fair.  Please meet in the Media Center by 7:45am.


MATH TUTORING: There will be no after school Math with Ms. Lembcke on Tuesday, October 28, due to conferences.


STUDENT COUNCIL: There will be a student council meeting this week on Wednesday, October 29, from 3:10-4:30 PM in the Cafetorium. Please bring your own snack and a student council folder to the meeting. If you cannot make the meeting, please be sure to check in with Ms. Kennedy or Mrs.Ebinger on Thursday or Friday to find out what you missed.


FMS SPORTS:

PICTURES: Reminder… Girls Swimming and Volleyball pictures are in. Please stop down to pick up your pictures in the main office.


BOYS SWIMMING & DIVING: Any boy interested in joining the middle school swimming and diving team should sign up online as soon as possible. The season starts Tuesday, December 2, at the Brainerd High School pool. For more information please see Coach Anderson in team 7C.


DEBATE: Incredible job Brainerd Debate Team at the RDL tournament on Thursday. Special recognition goes to the following: in varsity public forum, Luke Norquist and Danny Stokes, first place, Rachel Dallman and Amanda Bently, second place and Patrick Meyer and Kyle Hensel, third place. In novice public forum, key aha Kurilla and Emily Rose Severson, first place, Sarah Nesheim and Ammy Lin, second place, and Andrew Kirzeder and Jonah Macejkovic, who went 4-0, but finished in fifth.

Brainerd Debate also did a wonderful job representing us at the St. Francis High School tournament on Saturday. In Lincoln/Douglas debate, Jordan Kleist took second place in varsity, Andrew Platt earned first place in jv and Zoey Heitkotter finished in fifth place in novice. Kyle Hensel and Patrick Meyer earned third place in varsity public forum.


MIDDLE SCHOOL WRESTLING: To those interested: 5th-8th grade  there will be an informational meeting on Wednesday, November 5, at 8:00 AM in Mr. D’s room 2507. treats and prizes for those who attend. See Mr. D if you cannot attend.
