8th GRADE STUDENT AMBASSADORS: There will be a meeting for all 8th grade ambassadors in the Media Center this Wednesday at 8:25am. Bring your agenda book and pen/pencil.


STUDENT COUNCIL: Student Council kids that are working on painting headbands after school this Tuesday, should meet in Mrs. Ebinger's room right after school (2506).  We will be done by 4:30.

  • Student Council painting headbands Tuesday after school: Meet in Mrs. Ebinger's classroom after school (2506- Team 5D) and then you'll go to Mrs. Hall's room to paint.

  • Student Council helping with Hat Day:  Meet by the front doors Wednesday morning > Mrs. Ebinger and Mrs. Kennedy will tell you where you'll go.


HOMECOMING: It’s Homecoming Week and we want you to show your school spirit!! The Student Council has arranged some fun "dress up" days for you to take part in!!

  • Wednesday wear your favorite Jersey- any kind, any team!!  We will have a HAT Day on Wednesday as well.  If you would like to wear a hat, bring a dollar to the tables at the front entrance, or the side entrances of the building. The Student Council is raising money for Randy Shaver "Tackle Cancer" fundraiser. "Tackle Cancer" bracelets will also be for sale for $1.00 as well at the same table that you would pay for your hat.

  • Friday is Warrior Spirit Day!! Wear royal blue, white and gray to show your school spirit and pride! Which grade level will have the most spirit?


HOMECOMING PARADE: The Brainerd Homecoming Parade is next Saturday, Sept. 27th.  All Forestview kids are invited to walk in the parade with the Forestview group. We need to have permission slips signed by your parents in order for you to walk with us. Permission slips will be available in the office starting Monday, September 22nd.  They must be returned to Ms. Kennedy or Mrs. Ebinger by Friday, September 26th. Students will meet at Mid-Minnesota Federal Credit Union Building instead at 200 S. 6th Street.


HOMECOMING/GIRLS VARSITY TENNIS: The Warrior Girls' Varsity Tennis Team is hosting a homecoming event called "Fill the Hill" at the Brainerd High School tennis courts on Tuesday, September 23, at 4:15 PM for their conference dual match against the Sartell Sabres. Students, staff, community members, Warrior tennis alumni, and tennis enthusiasts are encouraged to attend and see the newly reconstructed Brainerd High School tennis courts.  All fans will receive free popcorn to enjoy while watching the Warrior Girls' Tennis team compete.


HOMECOMING 5K: Students get your run in before the Homecoming parade Saturday, September 27. Students register for a reduced rate and early registrations ensure a t-shirt. Come run and finish on the new football field!  Flyers are in the main offices, team areas, and posted around school. Or Google Brainerd Homecoming 5k Run.


SPIRIT DAY: Show your Warrior spirit on Friday's spirit day and have your face painted before school 7:30-8:20.  5th and 6th graders go to Room 2432 (the clay room next to Mrs. Carlson's art room) and 7th and 8th graders in Mrs. Hall's  Art room 2406.  It's only $1.00 with all funds donated to the homecoming float.

DRAMA CLUB: FMS Acting Up Theatre club meets tonight in the cafetorium until 5:00 pm.
