SNOWMOBILE SAFETY TRAINING: Snowmobile safety training will be held Saturday, February 14, from 10:00-4:00 PM at Camp JIM for ages 11+ FREE of charge. Check in starts at 9:30 AM. Preregister by calling Camp JIM. More information is available on the poster in the main office.

WINTER WONDERLAND WEEK: Hey students!!  Next week is Winter Wonderland Week here at Forestview and the Student Council has made some fun days for you to participate in!

  • TODAY - Formal Day!  Bring on the Fancy clothes!

  • Thursday - Jersey Day!  Show your team some love and wear their jersey, shirt or colors!!

  • Friday - Pajama Day!  Relax... wear your comfortable clothes or PJs and have fun on Friday!

Show your school spirit and participate in Winter Wonderland Week!!

VALENTINES’ DAY: Valentine Flowers will be available on Friday morning for $1.  Purchase a Fresh Carnation for a teacher, friend, family member or for yourself.  The flowers will be sold near the main floor entrances by the Forestview Builders Club.

LIBRARY: Students - a few reminders about visiting the library on a pass: You must include the time on the pass, so we know when you left your classroom. Also, if you come to the library with a pass to find a book, you must check a book out before you go back to class. Otherwise, some students come to the library to avoid reading time in their classrooms. Thanks from the library staff.

CAMP INVENTION: Attention 5th Graders! Do you like to invent and create new things??  If so, Camp Invention is something you need to try!  Camp Invention is a 5 day Science Enrichment camp at Central lakes College that goes from July 27-31st. You will take apart electronics from home and create new inventions with the parts and do many more cool things! Get signed up by March 20th and save $25.00. See Mrs. Ebinger if you have any questions or need another flyer!

FAMILY NIGHT: Hey Forestview! The Student Council is sponsoring our 2nd Annual Family Night at Ski Gull this Friday, February 13th from 4:30 - 9:00 pm.  Bring your family for a fun night of tubing, skiing or snowboarding for very reasonable prices!  All season passes are honored as well as the 6th grade passes from the Learn to Ski field trips!

Prices are as follows:  Tubing $10

                                 Lift Tickets $10

                                 Ski Rental $10

                                 Snowboard Rental $20

                                 Helmet Rental $1  (Please strongly consider renting a helmet!)

         **Hotdog and chips special for $3.00 or you may bring your own food and beverages.

Any students interested in going to Ski Gull should pick up a wristband in the office on Thursday or Friday this week to wear for Identification to get the reduced prices!  All family members are included, and should accompany their student to the ticket counter.

Community Education if offering the following classes in March:

* Acting Up for 5-8 graders. If you are interested in Acting-this is the after school program for you! Will start March 18th.

*Babysitters' Prep-Tuesday March 10. A full day training to prepare you to be a "Quality" baby/child sitter.

*Safety Skills and Basic First Aid-Wednesday March 11. This is a morning class to share the skills needed to take care of yourself, friends and family members at home or in the community.

The Builders Club will have an important meeting this Thursday at 8:00 am in Mr. Hodge's classroom.  We are getting ready for several events.
