NATIONAL SCHOOL COUNSELING WEEK: Good Morning!  This is Mrs. Storbakken, one of your school counselors, and today is the third day of “National School Counseling Week.”  Today’s message is about curiosity and the power of connections. Steve Jobs, founder of Apple, encouraged people to “think different.”  Ten years ago, Jobs knew that computers were not the only key to Apple’s future success.  Success to help was in developing tools that allow us to connect -to our music, our pictures, to the Internet, and to others.  Born from his curiosity and desire to connect were the iPhone, the iPad, the iPod, and the iTunes. As one of your school counselors, I want to encourage you to be curious, to “think different.”  There is much to be learned from the brilliance that is in each of you.

To celebrate the final day of National School Counseling Week let's see students and staff in college gear on Friday, such as sweatshirt, t-shirt, jersey - anything with a college logo on it.

6TH GRADE BAND: All flutes and clarinets have band today from 10:53-11:27.

6TH GRADE CHOIR: All boys have choir today from 10:53-11:27.

6TH GRADE ORCHESTRA: All Wednesday kids have orchestra today from 10:53-11:27.
