Here are your daily announcements:
Students: There will be a meeting for any 7th and 8th graders interested in Unified Warriors on Thursday, Sept. 11 during 5th hour in the media center.
Students: if you want to join the Forestview Student council this school year, please pick up a form at the front office or from Mr. Krueger’s room. Applications are due next Friday, September 12th. See Mr. Krueger if you have any questions!
Attention Battle of the Books Readers: Attention Battle of the Books Readers- today is the day of the Grand Battle. Please go directly to the Cafetorium and check in with Mrs. Wig/Battle Leaders after school is dismissed. We have hundreds of dollars in cash and other prizes to give away. Good luck to all of you!
Attention Students: Are you looking for something fun to do after school? If so, consider joining one, or both of the Future Problem Solvers programs. The Global Issues and Problem Solving group - will research real-world challenges and use their creative thinking skills to formulate solutions to solve problems related to the future. The Storytelling and Story Writing group - will research a real-world issue and then imagine possible outcomes of future actions, and then develop a creative, futuristic narrative to present in a storytelling format. Students: Do you like to paint or draw? Come and express yourself in the Art Club! Register through the Community Ed. office. Begins Sept.16th.
6th-8th Grade Students: FALL STEAM classes -Designing and Creating with a Laser will explore vector image design, learn to program lasers, and complete at least three original projects blending art and technology. This class is for anybody who likes to create and to use cool technology. First session begins Sept. 15th. Sign up through Community Education today - space is limited.
