COMMUNITY ED:

Babysitter Prep Class: October 16, 9 am - 5 pm - Cost is $35

Learn the skills necessary to be a quality babysitter -- leadership, basic care, safety and first aid. Bring a lunch and a snack for the day. Space is limited.


Pizza and Books Gr 5-8: Oct 10, Nov 14, Dec 12, Jan 9, Feb 13, Apr 10, May 8 - Cost is $30

Dismissal - 4:30 pm

Share your love of books and reading with your classmates and friends. Talk about the book you are currently reading as well as learn about new and exciting books from other participants and the facilitator. No book reports or reading assignments. Bring a beverage, we provide the pizza! Parents, please pick your youth up at 4:30 pm at the Forestview front doors.


Youth Curling Gr 4-12: Held at Holden Curling Arena - 4 sessions, Oct 25-Nov 22/Sa

9-10:30 am, Cost is $30

Intro or Advanced sessions available

FALL ARTS & CRAFTS FESTIVAL: 150+ artists/crafters with quality handcrafted items. Saturday, October 11, 2014, from 9:30 am – 4:00 pm at the Brainerd Senior High School (702 S. 5th Street). Use the north or south entrance. Free Admission. Refreshments available. This event is sponsored by Brainerd Public Schools Community Education, a non-profit organization. FMS SPORTS:

5th and 6th GRADE GIRLS BASKETBALL: On October 9th, 5th grade girls interesting in playing basketball will meet in Mrs. Sannes's classroom, 2502.  6th girls basketball players will meet in Mrs.Zauhar's classroom, 1617.  Meetings will begin at 8 a.m.
