COMMUNITY ED:

DEBATE: 7th and 8th graders interested in joining Debate, there is a meeting in Mr. Pritschet’s room, 2816, on Thursday the 11th at 6:00 PM. Why join Debate? You will have the chance to: Meet and compete with some of the brightest kids in the nation. Be part of a program that has been the Section 5 Champs two years running and has sent six kids to state in the last three years. Participate in an activity that will make you a stellar student and open the doors of the best universities. Learn how to argue so that your parents will end disagreements with, “Don’t you use that debate stuff on me!” Where else can you be feared, admired, and complimented for your intelligence and your ability to counter some else’s arguments? If any of this sounds intriguing, and if you know what intriguing means, check out the debate meeting in Mr. Pritschet’s room, 2816, on Thursday the 11th at 6:00 or see Mr. Pritschet in the team 8c area for more information.

Returning debaters, practice has started. Please get signed up and come to A110 at BHS as soon as you can. Cases and evidence are on dropbox. Come see Mr. Pritschet for more info.
