EQUESTRIAN CLUB: The Forestview Equestrian Club will meet today, February 20, at the Spirit Horse Center. Please make reference to the Agenda that was given out at our December meeting; or see Mrs.Hopperstad for another copy.


STUDENT COUNCIL: The student council meeting will be cancelled for this Thursday, February 20, due to a very busy week of events!  Please try to come to the Family Fun Night at Ski Gull on Friday to show support for this event!  I will see you there!


WINTER WONDERLAND WEEK!

  * Thursday 2/20 get your Cowboy and Camo gear ready!  It's Western and Camo Day!

  * Friday 2/21 is WARRIOR Spirit Day. Wear your Blue and White!


COMMUNITY ED:

FYAC: FYAC members, please bring in your permission slips to go on the Central Lakes College tour next Wednesday, February 26, to the Community Education Office by the gym.


FMS SPORTS:

SPEECH: Congratulations Brainerd Speech Team for a strong showing at the Staples Speech Meet. Camryn Schmidt took first in extemp speaking, Miriam Pritschet 2nd in discussion, Taylor Collette 3rd in prose, Leah Rathe was a finalist in extemp reading, Luke Norquist was a finalist in discussion, and Nick Ashmann received an honorable mention in discussion.


SPEECH: Incredible job Brainerd 7th through 9th grade speech team!  At the park Rapids meet Camryn Schmidt took 1st place in extemp speaking. Luke Norquist took 1st, Amanda Cook got 3rd and Lydia Halbach earned 4th in discussion. Ronan Pritschet and Dani Dotseth tied for 3rd in humorous interp, and Sara Kleist took 3rd in storytelling. Way to go!


SPRING SPORTS: Spring Sports Online Registration is now open. No start date information is yet available -- check the website for additions as they become available. Get signed up today for your Warrior sports teams. There are many opportunities to choose from including: power conditioning, golf, track, tennis, baseball, and softball.  There are also many opportunities to choose from in the community ed booklet. Try something new and have fun with your friends this spring.
