SOLO CONCERT: 8th Grade Rock Band, SOLO, to Hold Public Concert at Forestview. Forestview's own Danny Olson, Carter Sobania, and Jayce Schroeder will be rockin' out at Forestview Middle School on Friday, March 27, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. All ages are invited to hear this cover band rock the house!  An evening for the whole family, the band will be collecting donations for the local food shelf.

  • TICKETS:  $5 at the door

BUILDERS CLUB: Builders Club... please get your pins to Mr. Hodge by tomorrow or as soon as possible.  Bethany Good Samaritan is waiting for them!  We have a meeting this Thursday at 8:00 am in room 1807.


YEARBOOK PICTURES: Any Forestview student that regularly participated in a junior varsity or varsity sport this year, please come to the Media Center Thursday morning at 8:30 for a yearbook picture.


COMMUNITY ED:

CHESS: Chess Club will NOT meet on Thursday, March 26.  The last day for Chess Club will be Tuesday, March 24.


FMS SPORTS:

BASEBALL: Attention 8th Grade baseball players:  There will be a meeting about the upcoming baseball season this Thursday, March 26th starting at 8:00 am in room 2806 in team 8D.  If you are unable to make the meeting, come and talk to Mr. Knipple.  


SPEECH: Great job Brainerd Competitive Speech Team at last Saturday's meet in Grand Rapids.

Special Recognition goes to the following members: Nuke Lorquist, Superior in discussion, Taylor Krassas, superior in extemporaneous reading, Maddie SChuld, 4th place extemporaneous speaking, Lauren Crabtree, 5th place humorous interpretation,  and Clay Jambor, 6th place in storytelling.  The team also won the 5th place sweepstakes trophy.  Good luck at subregionals on Thursday!


GIRLS SOFTBALL: 6/7 Girl's Softball - Any 6th or 7th grade girls interested in playing softball this spring, should report to Mr. Peabody's room in Team 6A (1615) this Thursday at 8:00am.  The meeting will be about the upcoming season to give information and answer any questions you might have.  The meeting will only last about 15 minutes.  If you cannot attend, get information from a friend or see Mr. Peabody.
