Forestview Students and Staff:

Today is Day 1

Here are your daily announcements

Students: Next week is Kindness Week! Tuesday and Wednesday before school, stop by the front entrance of the school to write a kind message. We want kindness to be overflowing as you enter the school!

Students:  Club Checkmate will be taking place in room 1416 instead of the cafetorium today.

Students:This is a reminder of the new leadership opportunity, the SMILE Clubcoming to FMS! It is a peer-to-peer, student-led leadership club created in partnership with Smiles for Jake, a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting mental health awareness.  SMILE Club leaders will meet during the school day at Forestview and will focus on spreading joy, building connections, and strengthening our positive school climate by planning inclusive activities and events for the school community.  There is an application process to become a SMILE Club leader. Applications are available in your team area, the front office, or the counseling office.

Keep in mind that there is no school this Friday or following Monday, and applications are due by TUESDAY, February 17th.

Students: Attention all 5th and 6th grade girls and boys interested in basketball: Our school ball season begins next Tuesday, February 17th and goes until Friday, March 6th. This program is for basketball players of all ability levels. It is a great way for new players to begin learning the fundamentals of basketball and experienced players to continue developing their skills. Make sure you register through the FMS Activities website. If you have any questions, find Mr. Kunesh in team 7B or stop by the Community Education office.

Lunch Menu:

Today: Italian Dunkers, Dunker Sauce, Garden Salad and Applesauce

Tuesday, Feb. 17th: Pizza Crunchers w/dipping sauce, Green Beans, Pears and Creamy Jonny Pop
